Dennis Shin was born in Westfield, New Jersey where he acquired his love for hockey at the young of three. He then continued to play for twelve years while transitioning to Fort Myers, FL where he attended Bishop Verot High School. Upon graduation from High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Dennis served four honorable years and did one tour in Afghanistan. Currently, he is perusing his bachelors degree in business. In his free time, he gives back to the community through participation with his local Rotaract club. Dennis developed a business mindset working along side his father for over 4 years in his fathers restaurant . He gained a natural interest in pleasing people through excellent customer service. He and Paul Haynes envisioned a new take on the typical Tiki bar scene and it was with this, Koi Lounge was born.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Paul Haynes moved to Southwest Florida with his family several years ago, where he attended Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers. He went on to study at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers where he graduated with his bachelors degree. Having worked in the Fort Myers area for the past six years, Paul has enjoyed the dynamic lifestyle of the customer service industry and is very excited to be working alongside his long time friend, Dennis Shin at Koi Lounge. He also is a board member of the Rotaract Club of Estero in which he helped establish. Paul gives back to the community by actively participating in various service activities in surrounding areas with other members of his club. When it comes to customer service, Paul aims to make guest satisfaction his number one priority; second is the happiness of his staff. He and Dennis Shin are excited to present Bonita Springs with their latest creation, Koi Lounge.
